The Selection by Keira Cass I loved this book. It is one of my personal favorites. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars. Imagine a chance to be a princess. In the Selection, 35 girls are given a chance to win the luxurious lifestyle of a lavish royal. For most people this is a dream come true, a chance to move up from the caste they were born in. For America Singer, this is not what she sees. She sees a life without her secret love, Aspen. America puts her name into the lottery, assuming she definitely will not be picked. America was born a 5 and her love, Aspen is a 6. If she marries him, she will move down in caste. When America is picked to enter the Selection, she is very surprised.
