Life's Just Like a Porcupine

Life's Just Like a Porcupine poem written by RhinoReader13

Believe me when I say
Everything will be okay
It's alright, it's just fine
Life's just like a porcupine
So when someone acts very tough
Maybe they had a day that was quite rough
Because if you just step in their shoe
Maybe you'll see what they're going through
Look deeper and you may find
Life just poked them in the behind
There's always more than meets the eye
So above all, always be kind
If someone's stressed because their project is due
Remind them to thine own self be true
Because from a distance a porcupine is cute
But when you come within six feet,
You may find that they have smelly feet
Some porcupines are bigger and some are small
Some are short and some are tall
They all have spikes
When you are poked, remember they're just like hikes
Hikes can be long and make you sore
But at least they save you from a bore
It's the climb that matters
Whether you're a dancer who dances
Or a batter who batters
When you're not feeling too hot
Remember life isn't bad, no it's not!
Your mom may be awesome
Although your life can be flawsome
Your dad is quite great
Your family is first rate!
So when you're not feeling so fine
Remember life's just like a porcupine
