The Selection

The Selection by Keira Cass

I loved this book. It is one of my personal favorites. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

Imagine a chance to be a princess. In the Selection, 35 girls are given a chance to win the luxurious lifestyle of a lavish royal. For most people this is a dream come true, a chance to move up from the caste they were born in. For America Singer, this is not what she sees. She sees a life without her secret love, Aspen. America puts her name into the lottery, assuming she definitely will not be picked. America was born a 5 and her love, Aspen is a 6. If she marries him, she will move down in caste. When America is picked to enter the Selection, she is very surprised.

She doesn’t care about the fact that the prince, Prince Maxon is in the highest caste, 1, where only royalty are. America goes into the competition expecting to hate Maxon. When she meets him however, America may begin to change her mind.

This book is the first book in a series. It is meant to entertain. This book is a fantasy romance. It is a very interesting and captivating book. I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance novels and anyone who likes fantasy novels.

This book is available in Kindle format and in paperback. It is included with Kindle Unlimited so this is a perfect time to start a free trial! If you don't have a kindle, you can read it on any device. I would rather read it on a Kindle especially when I am reading at night. Quarantine has made it hard to get books from libraries and other places where books are normally abundant, so Kindle Unlimited has been very helpful to have.

Titans created the gods and the humans.  As they are the ones who created the gods, they are also the only ones that can destroy the gods. Kate’s one true love, Henry is acting strange. The book starts off in Genovia. Mia is really missing Michael, her boyfriend, who she has yet to go on a date with. She had previously agreed to go to Genovia during Christmas break.  She is regretting signing that contract because now she actually has a boyfriend to miss. Mia is counting down the days until she sees him again. Her schedule is crazy and she has no free time. After reading Jane Eyre, she decides to stop chasing Michael, by not calling him every night. This is not the best idea.  When she gets back from Genovia, Mia’s problems are not over. Michael invites her on their first date. He invites her to go to the Screening Room and watch Star Wars with her during dinner. Due to being a princess, Mia

Princess in Love

Princess in Love by Meg Cabot Rating: I give this book a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Summary:  Spoiler alert!- Don’t read this review until you have finished the first two books in the Princess Diaries series.  Mia’s dreams are finally coming true, aren’t they? She finally has a boyfriend. She is the princess of a small principality in Genovia. Unfortunately for her, this life isn’t all unicorns and rainbows. Between trying to stop Kenny from kissing her and avoiding conversation about that, she also has to start getting ready for her introduction into Genovia.  What’s the big problem with having a boyfriend? Mia does not like her boyfriend. Kenny is nice and all, but Mia just doesn’t feel that way about him. She can’t bring herself to break up with him.  The person Mia has really fallen for is Michael Moscovitz. Unfortunately he appears to be dating Judith Gershner. Judith Gershner is a genius who can clone fruit flies. Michael also has many reason to not like Mia. Of course,
